RESEARCH ASSISTANT

Are you a student or graduate who wants experience in the exciting world of research and analytics?  Would you like to use your academic skills to improve communities? 

Community Researchers has ONE paid opportunity for a RESEARCH ASSISTANT under the Canada Summer Jobs program.  The research assistant will undertake community research projects with leading professionals.  Tasks will include client consultations, data collection, data analysis, providing insights, and presenting results.  Candidates must demonstrate ability to work independently and be available to meet in-person regularly in York Region, Ontario.

-$16.50 per hour, full-time, for eight weeks

-Term is Monday, June 5 through Friday, July 28

-As per CSJ requirements, candidates must be between 15 and 30 years of age, Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred, and legally entitled to work in Canada.  International students are not eligible.  Recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian Citizens or permanent residents.

SOCIAL MEDIA COMMUNITY MANAGER

Are you a student or graduate who is awesome at all things social media?  Would you like to use your skills to promote a unique organization?

Community Researchers has ONE paid opportunity for a SOCIAL MEDIA COMMUNITY MANAGER under the Canada Summer Jobs program.  The manager will establish and maintain the organization's presence on multiple social media platforms.  Tasks will also include preparing posts to be released throughout the year (after the term has ended).  Candidates must demonstrate ability to work independently and be available to meet in-person regularly in York Region, Ontario.

-$16.50 per hour, full-time, for eight weeks

-Term is Monday, June 5 through Friday, July 28
